BAYADA is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) in York and surrounding areas. In this role, you’ll work one-on-one in home and community settings, supporting individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities as a trusted companion and mentor, helping them build skills, confidence, and independence.

What You’ll Do

  • Support participation in community activities
  • Empower clients to live independently and reach their full potential
  • Assist with personal care (dressing, grooming)
  • Provide transportation to appointments, errands, and community activities
  • Engage in hobbies, activities, and meaningful companionship

Compensation & Schedule

  • Pay starting at $17.50–$19.00/hour
  • Weekly pay
  • Part-time, flexible scheduling with various shifts available

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent (18+)
  • One year of experience working with individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities
    (Training may be available through our apprentice program if you don’t have experience)
  • Reliable transportation and ability to drive clients to appointments and activities
