Role Summary

 

The Project Specialist serves as the technical link between engineering and project management, ensuring project requirements, engineering activities, and site execution are delivered in line with scope, quality, budget, and schedule. The role requires experience in civil and electronic engineering, multidisciplinary coordination, and site supervision.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Review project specifications, drawings, and client requirements.
  • Evaluate technical proposals for compliance with project and contractual requirements.
  • Coordinate with design, procurement, contractors, and consultants to resolve technical issues.
  • Supervise civil and electronic installation activities and ensure compliance with approved drawings, quality, and safety standards.
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks, and support corrective actions.
  • Conduct site inspections and maintain technical documentation, progress reports, and as-built records.
  • Support stakeholder communication, technical presentations, and project reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with quality, safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.

 

Qualifications & Experience

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Electronics Engineering (or equivalent).
  • Minimum 7 years of engineering experience, including at least 3 years in the UAE, preferably on multidisciplinary or infrastructure projects.
  • Strong knowledge of civil works and electronic systems, including control, communication, and power systems.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Project.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies (PMBOK, Agile, or PRINCE2); CAPM certification is an advantage.
  • Experience with technical documentation, reporting, and basic budget or procurement support.
  • Strong coordination, problem-solving, and communication skills.
