Position Summary
This role is responsible for driving the growth and development of the Specialty Gases (SPEC) business across the UAE, export markets, and Africa. The position focuses on expanding market presence, building strong customer relationships, and delivering sustainable revenue and profitability. Working closely with the Industrial Gases team, the role combines strong commercial leadership, market insight, and solution-based selling.

Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Planning
Define and execute the commercial strategy for SPEC gases in alignment with UAE sales leadership.
Develop structured, data-driven business plans.

Business Development
Expand the existing portfolio while securing new business, especially in key sectors and OEMs.
Differentiate offerings through value-added services and solutions.

Financial Performance
Deliver and exceed sales, revenue, and profitability targets.
Implement pricing strategies, including general price increases.

Sales Execution
Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to contract negotiation.
Build long-term agreements to ensure sustainable growth.
Support credit control and cash flow improvement initiatives.

Customer Management
Act as the primary commercial interface with customers.
Ensure timely resolution of issues across commercial, finance, and supply chain functions.
Strengthen customer experience and retention.

Market Intelligence & Reporting
Provide regular business updates and insights.
Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and pipeline opportunities.

Leadership & Stakeholder Management
Provide commercial leadership across cross-functional teams including Sales, Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, and Customer Service. Collaborate with technical teams to align solutions with customer needs. Drive alignment for smooth execution of contracts, deliveries, and pricing. Build strong relationships with customers, OEMs, and partners. Lead negotiations with a focus on
long-term value and profitability. Promote a culture of accountability, collaboration, and performance.

Scope

Coverage: UAE, Africa, and export markets across the Middle East, Pakistan, and Turkey.
Portfolio: Specialty gases and related equipment.
Full ownership of the sales portfolio with revenue accountability.

Core Accountabilities
Achieve annual sales and profitability targets. Drive growth across products and geographies.
Execute pricing strategies and improve customer margins. Deliver measurable performance results across the SG portfolio.

Requirements & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
3–5 years of B2B sales experience in an industrial environment.
Strong commercial acumen and customer engagement skills.
Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
Proficient in Microsoft Office tools.
Fluent in English.
