Hilton is looking for a Sr RTR Specialist (General Accountant) to join our on-site Finance Shared Service Centre in Ras Al Khaimah. The role supports month-end closing, financial reporting, balance sheet reconciliations, VAT reporting, and daily cash journal processing, with duties around fixed cost register maintenance and hotel P&L adjustments. You’ll report to the Record to Report Supervisor and collaborate with hotel teams in the office and remotely. The ideal candidate has strong accounting knowledge, excellent Excel skills, hospitality finance experience, and the ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure; Navision and Docuware experience is a plus, Arabic is advantageous. The RTR Specialist is responsible for providing support to hotels supported Finance Shared Service Centre (SSC).  In particular, Month-end closing activity, Financial reporting activity, Balance Sheet reconciliation, Tax reporting preparation and Daily Cash journal.

The role reports to the Record to Report Supervisor.

What will I be doing?

•    Take charge of specific month-end activity processes

•    Maintain Fixed Cost Register and ensure that this is a full and accurate reflection of all contracts in place

•    Monthly Balance Sheet Reconciliation

•    Preparation of the VAT reconciliation and VAT return

•    Review of the hotels P&L and preparation of adjustments

•    Preparation of the hotel monthly financial reports

•    Prepare the Daily Cash journal

•    Assist in preparation of documentation needed by any internal/external auditor

•    Other tasks as required by business operations

•    Strong Accounting knowledge

•    Strong Excel knowledge

•    Financial and DMS Systems knowledge and interest in learning new systems, in particular, knowledge of Navision and preferably Docuware. 

Required Qualifications:

• Hospitality/Hotel Finance Experience 

• Minimum Education: High school graduate

• Minimum Experience: Relevant years as a General Accountant or Income Auditor

Preferred Qualifications:

• Education: University graduate and/or accounting qualification

• Experience: Relevant years as both a General Accountant and Revenue Accounting

• Language: Arabic Speaking
