Key job responsibilities
The Leo Supply Chain team is looking for a Sr. Technical Program Manager to support business and engineering stakeholders in developing, implementing and monitoring ground systems. The ideal candidate will have a successful track record working with a global supply base in developing, implementing and supporting processes to achieve business needs. Experience working in new and ambiguous environments while solving complex problems with a broad range of cross functional stakeholders will be an advantage.

• Work with a range of stakeholders including business leaders, engineering leaders, legal, program management, and supply chain to negotiate a variety of agreements and contracts including term sheets, MOUs, NDAs, SOWs, development agreements, component purchase agreements and others
• Influence operations processes, technology decisions, and policies in ways that are mutually beneficial and sustainable for both organizations
• Prioritize projects and activities to deliver maximum cost reductions and reliable on-time delivery
• Manage cross-functional projects against plans and objectives to meet commitments and goals
• Collaborate with ground systems engineers to gain an in-depth knowledge of RF electronics and antenna systems functionality
• Manage end to end life cycle of supply chain operations for hardware and software pre-delivery through post-delivery
• De-risk delivery and critical escalations through mechanism creation and ownership

A day in the life
In this role as Sr. Technical Program Manager, you will be actively working with Ground Systems Engineering team, sourcing, quality, digital operations, internal and external systems owners, and security team to develop and implement strategies and processes across the global supply base for ground gateway equipment. The products will enable mission critical, high throughput communications with Amazon LEO satellites. You will engage with an experienced cross-disciplinary team to manufacture, test, and distribute solutions and products globally enabling LEO's global network.

Basic Qualifications


- 5+ years of technical product or program management experience
- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
- 7+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience

Preferred Qualifications

- Demonstrated experience in system bring-up, manufacturing line testing and new product introduction
- Knowledge of Unix/Linux environments and embedded Linux
- Comfortable in some scripting language of choice
- Experienced with various RF electronics or PCBA manufacturing processes, including assembly and test methods at component level, subsystem, and system level

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
