Stripe is hiring a Staff Product Manager for Terminal Core Payments to own in-person payments infrastructure and developer APIs, guiding a multi-year vision into concrete milestones and OKRs. You’ll balance scaling the Stripe payment stack for in-person use cases with fraud reduction and top-tier authorization rates, while partnering closely with Engineers, Legal, Partnerships, Finance, Product Marketing, Data Science and Operations. External representation and direct user engagement in discovery are part of the role. Ideal: 10+ years PM, technically minded with API/SDK product experience, proven payments product success, and strong communication. Tailor your resume to highlight roadmap leadership, cross-functional influence, and payer outcomes for hybrid or onsite US or Canada roles.

The Terminal team’s mission is to make it as easy for businesses to accept in-person payments as the Stripe API has done for online payments. With Terminal, businesses can unlock in-person payments use cases that are right for their business model—whether it’s creating a superb retail experience, extending their website to a pop-up store, or enabling a mobile point-of-sale at their next event.
Terminal is one of the fastest growing products at Stripe and we are expanding both globally and into new segments and verticals. As the Core Payments PM, you will be responsible for delivering payment capabilities to all of Stripe’s in-person users, their developers and their merchants.
We’re looking for someone who meets the minimum requirements to be considered for the role. If you meet these requirements, you are encouraged to apply. The preferred qualifications are a bonus, not a requirement.
This role is available either in an office or a remote location (35+ miles or 56+ km from a Stripe office).
The annual US base salary range for this role is $214,300 - $321,500. For sales roles, the range provided is the role’s On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role. This salary range may be inclusive of several career levels at Stripe and will be narrowed during the interview process based on a number of factors, including the candidate’s experience, qualifications, and location. Applicants interested in this role and who are not located in the US may request the annual salary range for their location during the interview process.
