Job Description

The role of Station Supervisor is to provide support and direction for base related operational issues, base continuity, and implementation of specific contract requirements.

Major Responsibilities of the Role

• General oversight and supervision of the base operation.l
• Company onside representative/POC to customers and local businesses
• implementation of specific contract requirements
• provide quotations for charter service requests
• liaise with flight crew, maintenance, and the Client Services Manager on all occurrences resulting in flight disruptions, or cancellations
• Evaluate paperwork for completeness, and ensure that pertinent information is provided to Tech Records as well Accounting
• Liaise with the Operations Manager, SMS Manager, Maintenance Manager and HR Manager for all employee and safety management issues
• Leadership of base engineers and rotational aircrew
• Maintenance and contract negotiation for matters related to crew housing, base vehicles, snow plowing, post office and grocery accounts
• Other duties as requested

*Please note that this is a high Arctic rotational position.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years supervisory experience
• Flight experience preferred
• Previous quoting experience preferred
• Experience with rotational work schedule preferred
• Ability to multi-task
• Excellent communication skills
• Keen attention to detail
