Downer is offering a full time on site Wastewater Supervisor role on Stewart Island in a job share arrangement with alternating weeks, based permanently on the island. You’ll handle routine and planned maintenance of wastewater treatment and reticulation assets, operate independently, and deliver outstanding customer service while upholding health and safety standards. Preferred qualifications include NZ Certificate in Wastewater Treatment Level 4 or NZ Certificate in Infrastructure Works Level 4, or relevant engineering or trade experience, plus a full NZ Class 1 and 2 license. About The Role
The role requires you to handle tasks independently on the island. Your main objective will be to provide outstanding service to clients while maintaining maximum efficiency in all operations. The key duties include routine and planned maintenance on Wastewater Treatment & Reticulation assets such as air valves, pressure mains, pump stations and treatment plants.
