Hours of working are:

  • Monday to Friday 6:30am - 2:30pm

We are seeking a reliable and organised Stockroom Team Member to join our warehouse team at The Warehouse in Taupō, New Zealand. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring our stockroom operates efficiently and maintains the highest standards of organisation and safety. You will work as part of a collaborative team, supporting the smooth flow of inventory and contributing to the overall success of our warehouse operations. • Receive, unload, and accurately process incoming stock deliveries • Organise and store stock items in designated locations using appropriate storage methods • Conduct regular stock counts and maintain accurate inventory records

  • Pick and pack customer orders with precision and attention to detail • Rotate stock according to 'first in, first out' principles to ensure product quality • Maintain a clean, safe, and organised stockroom environment in compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Assist in locating stock items and fulfilling internal requests from other departments • Operate warehouse equipment safely and responsibly, including pallet jacks and other handling tools where trained • Report any discrepancies, damaged goods, or safety concerns to management promptly • Collaborate effectively with team members to meet daily targets and deadlines

 

    Qualifications

    • Proven experience working in a warehouse, stockroom, or similar operational environment (desirable) • Strong organisational and time management skills • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping • Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
    • Physical capability to lift, carry, and move stock items regularly • Willingness to follow health and safety procedures and best practices • Basic numeracy skills for stock counting and inventory management • Familiarity with warehouse management systems or inventory tracking software (desirable)
    • Forklift or other warehouse equipment certification (desirable) • Reliability and punctuality with a positive attitude towards work • Ability to communicate clearly with colleagues and management
