Advice for applicants
Lead your resume with a clear record of steering a retail team to meet or beat budgeted sales, and mention the size of the team you’ve managed and the store you’ve led.
Back up your claims with concrete results. Include numbers that show how you raised KPI performance, improved customer experience, or increased productivity, along with examples of the coaching or mentoring you provided to staff.
Be ready to talk through how you would own the store and communicate performance to your team. Prepare a story about a time you used data to drive action, implemented changes on the floor, and then saw measurable improvements in sales or efficiency.
Ask a thoughtful question about development opportunities for strong performers, such as how adidas positions staff on the Retail Field Career Ladder and what supports exist to help top talent advance.
