We're looking for a detail-oriented and efficient Storekeeper to join our dynamic team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. In this pivotal role, you'll be the backbone of our inventory operations, managing the flow of materials and supplies while maintaining meticulous records and an organized storage facility. Your expertise in inventory management will directly support our operational success and contribute to our organization's growth. We're seeking someone who combines strong organizational skills with a collaborative spirit and a commitment to excellence.
- Receive, inspect, and properly store incoming materials, supplies, and equipment according to company standards and safety protocols
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records using digital systems and inventory management software
- Issue materials and supplies to departments as per requisition requirements while ensuring proper documentation
- Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile discrepancies with transparency and analytical precision
- Coordinate with procurement and departmental teams to ensure timely stock replenishment and optimal inventory levels
- Organize and maintain a clean, safe, and efficient storage area that complies with all safety regulations and company policies
- Prepare and submit comprehensive inventory reports to management, highlighting key metrics and trends
- Monitor stock levels proactively and identify slow-moving, obsolete, or damaged items for appropriate action
- Assist in implementing and improving inventory management processes to enhance efficiency and reduce operational costs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize inventory control and support organizational goals

Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience as a Storekeeper in a similar industry or related role
- Proficiency in inventory management systems and software platforms
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools
- Excellent organizational and record-keeping skills with meticulous attention to detail
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate effectively
- Solid understanding of inventory management best practices and supply chain fundamentals
- Physical ability to lift, carry, and move heavy items regularly as required by the role
- Competent math skills for inventory calculations, reconciliation, and reporting
- Demonstrated ability to work independently while thriving in a collaborative team environment
- Knowledge of safety regulations, compliance requirements, and best practices in storage facilities
- Familiarity with supply chain and logistics processes and their integration with inventory management
- Problem-solving abilities and resilience in managing inventory challenges
- Strong time management and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks
- Adaptability and willingness to learn new technologies and systems
- Diploma or Certificate in Storekeeping, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related discipline (preferred)
