Key duties include maintaining accurate bin locations, preparing shipping documents, loading and securing loads, and complying with WHMIS and TDG regulations, with occasional outdoor work and varied shifts. Requirements: high school diploma, valid driver’s license, forklift certification, at least 1 year in a warehouse, and the ability to lift up to 45 kg; experience with SAP, Excel, and MERLIN is a plus. PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:
The Storeperson is responsible for receiving, warehousing, issuing, and shipping materials used in daily railroad operations. This role ensures all transactions are completed accurately and on time in SAP, using computer-based systems to record and track inventory. The Storeperson also coordinates the picking and shipping of materials to customer locations in alignment with established shipping schedules.
