Strategic Partnership Office Europe

Since 2019 Strategic Partnership Office Europe has been working together with external partners (start-ups) through open innovation for proactive engagement with advanced technologies such as ICT, AI, Telematics, and others, to accelerate the creation of new business, products, and services in Kubota in agriculture.

To expand our market & business intelligence capabilities, we are looking to hire a Strategic Business Development Intern.

The role:

You will work closely with the Sr. Manager Strategic Business Development, and the Business Analyst to create additional value for actual products/machines. You will actively help the business units in supporting commercially ready products in strategic partnerships with start-ups, and prepare strategic vision studies & analysis for the market potential & business cases. This role is hybrid, with 2-3 days presence in the Nieuw-Vennep office, the Netherlands.

Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct market research (e.g., conducting surveys or validating value proposition with clients and dealers; analyzing different sources of information);
  2. Conduct interviews with industry stakeholders and farmers and gain access to experts from the Kubota Group network to gain further insights into product development;
  3. Conduct market analysis and review different sources of information to validate business assumptions and support the decision-making process with top management in Europe & Japan;
  4. Develop the go-to-market approach for added value in specialty crops & automation (e.g., robots, etc.); expansion to other innovation themes is also possible in the future;
  5. Provide additional value by pursuing activities that speed up development of new offerings in the Kubota portfolio.

  • Educational background in business administration, business analysis, international business development, economics, marketing strategy, or similar;
  • Must be enrolled in a Dutch university for the entire period of the internship.

  • Fluent in English. Other European languages are a plus.
  • Internship period from October 2026 for at least 4 months.
  • Potential travel across Europe within projects is possible, but planned in advance.
