HiSERV GmbH is looking for a Strategic Purchaser (m/f/d) in Schönefeld to own end-to-end procurement, balancing strategic sourcing with hands-on execution to boost cost efficiency, supplier performance, and operational reliability. The role requires developing category strategies, managing RFQs and negotiations, building strong supplier relationships, driving procurement digitalization, and partnering with Operations, Finance, Legal, IT and other teams while ensuring compliance and ethical standards. Key requirements include a degree in business or SCM, several years in procurement, strong negotiation and analytical skills, English and German (at least B2), and a driving license. You take ownership of our procurement activities—balancing strategic sourcing with hands-on execution to ensure cost efficiency, supplier performance, and operational reliability. You act as a key partner to internal stakeholders and suppliers, driving transparency, process improvements, and data-driven decision-making across the procurement function.
Responsibilities
Develop and execute category strategies aligned with business objectives
Manage end-to-end sourcing processes including RFQs, negotiations, and purchasing decisions
Build and maintain strong supplier relationships, including contract negotiation and performance monitoring
Take ownership of daily procurement operations, ensuring efficiency, speed, and transparency
Drive process optimization and digitalization within procurement, including introduction of tools and systems
Collaborate closely with Operations, Finance, Legal, IT, and other departments
Analyze procurement data to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve performance
Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and ethical standards
Requirements
Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
Several years of experience in procurement or strategic sourcing
Strong negotiation and analytical skills
Ability to combine strategic thinking with hands-on execution
Proactive, structured, and ownership-driven mindset
Experience with procurement tools and systems
Fluent in English and at least B2-level German
Valid driving license
