HiSERV GmbH is looking for a Strategic Purchaser (m/f/d) in Schönefeld to own end-to-end procurement, balancing strategic sourcing with hands-on execution to boost cost efficiency, supplier performance, and operational reliability. For our location in Schönefeld, we are looking for a:

Strategic Purchaser (m/f/d)

You take ownership of our procurement activities—balancing strategic sourcing with hands-on execution to ensure cost efficiency, supplier performance, and operational reliability. You act as a key partner to internal stakeholders and suppliers, driving transparency, process improvements, and data-driven decision-making across the procurement function.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute category strategies aligned with business objectives

• Manage end-to-end sourcing processes including RFQs, negotiations, and purchasing decisions

• Build and maintain strong supplier relationships, including contract negotiation and performance monitoring

• Take ownership of daily procurement operations, ensuring efficiency, speed, and transparency

• Drive process optimization and digitalization within procurement, including introduction of tools and systems

• Collaborate closely with Operations, Finance, Legal, IT, and other departments

• Analyze procurement data to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve performance

• Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and ethical standards

Requirements

• Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field

• Several years of experience in procurement or strategic sourcing

• Strong negotiation and analytical skills

• Ability to combine strategic thinking with hands-on execution

• Proactive, structured, and ownership-driven mindset

• Experience with procurement tools and systems

• Fluent in English and at least B2-level German

• Valid driving license
