We have an exciting opportunity for a Structural BIM Technician to join our Sydney team.

Working closely with structural engineers and multidisciplinary project teams, you will play a key role in the digital delivery of projects across a diverse portfolio including Commercial, Health, Education, Defence, Government, Residential and Industrial sectors.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced BIM professional looking to further develop their career while contributing to major projects for leading clients across Australia. You will work closely with structural engineering teams and collaborate nationally with BIM specialists and technical professionals to deliver coordinated, high-quality design documentation and models.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain accurate structural BIM models and project documentation using Revit.
  • Produce detailed structural drawings, schedules and construction documentation in accordance with project requirements and Australian Standards.
  • Coordinate structural models with architects, contractors and other engineering disciplines to support efficient project delivery.
  • Participate in BIM coordination reviews, clash detection and design coordination activities.
  • Contribute to quality assurance processes by undertaking model and drawing reviews prior to issue.

Skills & Experience

  • Demonstrated experience in a Structural BIM Technician, BIM Modeller or Structural Drafting role.
  • Advanced Revit skills with experience delivering projects within the buildings sector.
  • Strong understanding of structural engineering documentation and construction methodologies.
  • Experience working within a consulting engineering environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality documentation.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Familiarity with BIM standards, model coordination processes and multidisciplinary project delivery.
