ISCC System GmbH seeks a Working Student in Sustainable Fuels / Aviation & Maritime in Cologne. You will support the Aviation & Maritime team with tasks, review CORSIA certificates, and communicate with partners in English and German, while assisting research on biofuels and eFuels and helping prepare presentations for events. Ideal candidates are enrolled students available for at least one year, 15-20 hours per week, onsite 1–2 days in Cologne, fluent in German B1 and English C1, with strong communication, organization and analytical thinking; plus IT skills and customer support experience. Here,
- You will support the Aviation&Maritime team in daily business activities (e.g. update of documentation)
- You will review incoming ISCC CORSIA certificates
- You will communicate with business partners and stakeholders in English and German via email and telephone
- You will support research activities for ongoing projects, including topics like biofuels, eFuels, alternative maritime fuels and feedstock
- You will help to prepare presentations for events, webinars, and trainings
- Enrolled student with an availability of at least one year (preferably longer) and 15-20 hours per week in the area of bioenergy, chemistry, circular economy, bioeconomy, energy management, environmental management, agricultural and forestry management, geography, business management, economics, law or another related field
- Available for on-site work in the Cologne office at least once or twice a week (depending on working hours)
- Excellent language skills in German (Min. B1) and English (C1), additional language skills will be of advantage
- Strong communication and presentation skills and a supportive and service-oriented attitude
- A high degree of initiative, very good self-organization and good analytical thinking
- Preferred: professional experience in high-level customer support, or similar
- General IT proficiency and very good working knowledge of MS Office
- An approachable and reliable team player
