Kokua Education is hiring substitute teachers in Brooklyn and surrounding NYC for the 2025-26 school year, up to $210 daily. The role offers flexibility to teach across private and charter schools, autonomy to choose assignments and locations, and the opportunity to positively influence students. Requirements include a bachelor’s degree, 1+ year of K-12 experience, classroom management skills, and the ability to pass a background check, with daily availability 7:30 am to 4:30 pm. Preference goes to those who can work at least 3 days a week and commute to 2+ boroughs.
