NZSki is hiring a Summer Operations Outdoor Crew member for Coronet Peak, The Remarkables and Mt Hutt in Queenstown, starting immediately and running through April 2026. The role covers chair lift operations, lift and event queue management, with potential indoor operations training and shifts as needed. Ideal applicants are active mountain bikers or outdoor enthusiasts who thrive in teamwork, bring high energy and excellent guest service, and demonstrate strong health and safety awareness. You’ll be cross trained across tasks and may assist in other departments. Skiers and boarders will depart Coronet Peak, and that’s when our mountain bikers and hikers arrive. We aim to give them the best experience on our mountain!
We are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable person to be apart of our outdoor operations summer crew.

This role will commence immediately and run until April 2026.
The role will include (but is not limited too):
• Chair lift operations including operating lift machinery, meeting, and greeting all guests who ride a chairlift
• Lift and event queue management
• Being training in Indoor Operations, as you may be obliged to work as indoor crew as and when is necessary

About You
The ideal applicant would have an interest or be an active mountain biker, be keen in developing new skills as our team members will be working across several tasks and be willing to assist in other departments and take on additional duties as required.
This role requires a high level of energy, excellent teamwork skills, the ability to quickly build rapport with all guests and staff, and outstanding health and safety awareness.
