CPKC seeks a Hi-Rail Bridge Inspection Vehicle driver and operator based in Kansas City, MO to lead Snooper Truck inspections nationwide. This travel heavy, safety focused role includes hotel accommodations and meals while you’re away during work weeks, and requires scheduling, securing track authorities, coordinating with dispatch and field teams, and mentoring staff. Requirements include a Class A or B CDL with 30 months of recent driving, a clean record, experience with on-track equipment and track protection; railroad bridge experience is preferred with four plus years. You must live within 60 miles of KC and be on call for emergencies. Pre-employment medical and drug tests and background checks apply. PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:
Become part of CPKC as a Hi-Rail Bridge Inspection Vehicle (Snooper Truck) Driver and Operator and help keep our railway network safe, reliable, and moving. Based out of Kansas City, MO, you’ll operate the Snooper Truck to support critical bridge inspections across the system.
This travel-based role is ideal for someone who enjoys being on the road and working in different locations. While it is not home daily, CPKC provides hotel accommodations and meals while you’re away during the work week. Medical and Drug Testing
This is a safety sensitive position and a successful pre-employment medical assessment including physical, vision, hearing, and a negative company drug test is required. Post hire qualification drug testing may also be required.

Management Conductor Program
