Apparel Group is hiring a hands-on Supervisor for Workplace Technology in the United Arab Emirates, full-time onsite, to implement and manage POS systems, store wide area networks, antivirus updates, and routine subsystems such as Time and Attendance, while configuring end user devices, providing cross‑company support, and managing Cisco routers, wireless gear, Citrix clients and Nortel phone systems. The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in hardware engineering or a related field, a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering, strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, and familiarity with hardware design, testing and industry standards. KEY RESPONSIBILITY
•    Implement and manage Point of Sale Systems
•    Implement store facing front of wide area network
•    Coordinate with telecom providers for resolving technical fault on communication lines
•    Manage Antivirus updates in Point-of-Sale Systems
•    Routine checking and installation of sub systems like Time and Attendance and Traffic Counting System
•    Configure end user systems, Emails and Blackberries
•    Provide technical support to group companies / associate companies
•    Install and manage routine applications like MS Office and other settings on Client Machines
•    Configure Cisco 8700/8600 Series routers
•    Configure and manage Wireless routers in Store
•    Configure and manage Citrix Clients
•    Ensure Antivirus is updated and all patches are applied
•    Configure and Implement Nortel Telephone systems
DESIRED EXPERIENCE
•    The ideal Senior Executive – Workplace Technology should have 3-5 years of experience in hardware engineering or a related field.
•    Proficiency in hardware design, testing, and troubleshooting.
•    Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
•    Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
•    Understanding of hardware components, circuit design, and industry standards.
