Join the Civmec Team 

Civmec has secured a major civil and earthworks package with BHP in the Pilbara, and we’re seeking experienced FRP / Civil Supervisors to support delivery on site. This package includes construction of a new Car Dumper vault, incorporating piling, dewatering, structural retention systems, associated vault works, and the full FRP (formwork, reinforcement, pour) concrete scope. You’ll be responsible for leading crews, maintaining safety and quality standards, and driving progress across all FRP and civil activities.

Roster: FIFO 2:1, including night shift. 

 

The Role 

  • Supervise daily civil and FRP activities including formwork, reinforcement, concrete pours, earthworks, and structural works.
  • Be familiar with construction components including earthworks, services, concrete procedures and statutory requirements
  • Plan work activities and identify hazards and controls in consultation with employees
  • Liaise with client representatives regarding technical queries, inspections and project scheduling
  • Overseeing the standard and progress of subcontractors' work
  • Execute the construction portion of project plans through detailed planning and day-to-day direction of field activities
  • Conduct and record site inspections and risk assessments (including Hazard ID, risk analysis and control)
  • Communicate and report on HSE issues/incidents (e.g. toolbox meetings) and participate in the resolution of HSE issues

 

About You 

  • Minimum 5 years’ supervisory experience in civil construction, with strong FRP capability
  • WA Statutory Supervisor S26 qualification
  • Demonstrated experience in complex formwork, reinforcement and concrete structures
  • Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple crews
  • Previous experience on BHP sites is highly regarded
