Edw. C. Levy Co is seeking a full-time onsite Supervisor at Levy Brandenburg Mill Services in Brandenburg, KY to oversee slag removal, steel mill services and slag and scrap processing. Responsibilities include leading maintenance planning, ensuring equipment availability, enforcing safety and environmental initiatives, developing procedures, managing budgets and monthly costs, running KPI reports, analyzing data, and coordinating with vendors and operations for process improvements. The ideal candidate has at least five years in an industrial or construction setting with supervisory experience, can lift 50 lbs, holds a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver’s license, and strong MS Office and financial acumen. - Ensure equipment availability through effective and efficient scheduling of equipment maintenance and repairs
- Develop, support, coordinate, assign and schedule work for maintenance personnel
- Coordinate teams to identify process improvements and to develop and document maintenance procedures
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and operations management
- Assist the Operations Manager in developing budgets and business plans
- Review monthly budget to manage maintenance department costs
- Monitors product specifications for commercial and state applications
- Manages equipment and plant maintenance procedures and costs
- Runs KPI reports, analyzes data and utilizes information for better decision-making
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
- Ability to Lift up to 50 lbs.
- Minimum of five years of experience in an industrial or construction environment with supervisory experience
- Computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office products
- Ability to understand financial data
- Ability to communicate effectively in written and verbal format individually and in group settings
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid Driver’s License
