This is a supplemental football position for Broward County Public Schools in Hallandale Beach, FL, onsite and full time, supporting both head and assistant coaches. The role emphasizes teaching the sport, developing players, and contributing to a positive program culture. Minimum qualifications include a standard high school diploma or GED; head coaches must hold a valid Florida Educator Certificate per state statute, or commit to obtaining the Florida Department of Education Athletic Coaching Certificate; assistant coaches need a diploma or GED and the ability to convey football knowledge. Computer skills are required. The Head Coach
Qualifications: Standard high school diploma or satisfactory completion of any General Education Development (GED) Testing Program. Florida State Statute mandates that all high school coaches hold a valid Florida Educator Certificate. Applicants who do not hold a valid Florida Educator Certificate will be required to obtain an Athletic Coaching Certificate from the Florida Department of Education. Knowledge of the sport and the ability to impart this knowledge.
