Ready to kick-start your career in supply chain with one of New Zealand's most iconic organisations? 

Join Air New Zealand's Tech Ops Supply Chain Summer Internship and gain hands-on experience in the team that helps keep our aircraft flying safely and on schedule. From November 2026 to February 2027, you'll work on real projects while learning how a world-class aviation supply chain supports airline operations. 

Our Tech Ops Supply Chain team sources, plans and delivers the parts, materials and tooling needed to support aircraft maintenance. Working closely with engineering, maintenance, suppliers and logistics partners, you'll see how smart planning and collaboration keep our fleet moving. 

About the role 
As a Supply Chain Intern, you will: 

  • Support projects across inventory management, materials planning, logistics and process improvement 
  • Analyse data and identify opportunities to improve supply chain performance 
  • Gain exposure to engineering, operational and commercial environments 
  • Work alongside experienced professionals on initiatives with real business impact 
  • Build practical skills in a fast-paced aviation environment. 

What we're looking for 
You'll be: 

  • In your penultimate year of study and returning to university in 2027 
  • Studying a Bachelor of Commerce, specialising in Supply Chain Management or Operations Management, or a Bachelor of Information Systems 
  • A strong analytical thinker with excellent problem-solving skills 
  • Curious, adaptable and eager to learn 
  • Available to work full-time from November 2026 to February 2027.
