The role covers waste removal, restocking, detailed cleaning of patient areas and department facilities, delivering meals, and transporting patients and equipment, working across the listed shifts Wed 3:00–8:00, Thu 3:00–8:00, Fri 12:00–8:06, Sat 12:00–8:06, Sun 3:00–8:00, with PS25 classification around $60,606 p.a. The ideal candidate holds a Certificate III in Health Services Assistance, basic food safety knowledge, excellent customer service and communication skills, and healthcare experience; patient transport experience is preferred and a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History check is required or willingness to obtain. About the Role
You will deliver efficient and responsive support services to complement the clinical requirements of the 4 East Care Centre. You will also complete all support services tasks to meet activity, quality and service standards, by performing tasks in line with established duties list and standards.
Remove waste materials and restock consumables
Detailed cleaning of patient areas and all department facilities
Deliver meals & beverages to patients
Transport patients, beds and trollies
The classification for this position will be PS25 ($60,606 per annum)
Your Contribution
Certificate III in Health Services Assistance, course code HLT33115
Follow basic food safety practices, course code HLTFSE001 (if not completed as part of the Cert III in Health Services Assistance)
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Experience in patient transport, using a patient bed mover is preferred
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Previous experience within a Healthcare Environment
A valid Nationally Coordinated Criminal History check, or willing to obtain
