We are looking for 2 experienced support workers to join our 24/7 crisis respite team. They come to us through their GP or mental health service.

On the awake night shift role, you’ll be there to lend a hand with everyday things like making meals and keeping the place tidy, as well as being a calm, steady support for guests while they focus on their wellbeing. Every shift is a chance to make a real difference in someone’s life.

You’ll also

  • Focus on the individuals needs and provide culturally safe practice.
  • Complete relevant administrative tasks, take comprehensive notes, provide effective handovers to the next shift, and support and collaborate with your colleagues.
  • While they are asleep, you will be kept busy with other tasks like cleaning and supporting the day shifts with maintaining things like filing, first aid kits, emergency kits and preparation of paperwork.

About You | Mōu
