 What you’ll do

  • Inspect and verify critical works onsite and offsite against drawings, specifications and standards
  • Carry out hold point inspections and identify non-conformances early
  • Work with project teams and Trade Partners to drive rectification and close-out
  • Plan weekly surveillance activities in line with project lookaheads
  • Review shop drawings, specifications and material approvals ahead of inspections
  • Track findings in quality systems and contribute to monthly reporting and trend analysis

Who you are

  • Experience in construction surveillance, independent assurance, quality verification or similar roles across construction, infrastructure or major projects
  • Backgrounds in Nominated Authority / IREA, Quality Advisor, Superintendent, Building Inspector or Building Surveyor will be highly regarded
  • Strong technical credibility in civils, structures or services
  • Confident reading drawings, specifications and ITPs, and identifying non-conformances in the field
  • Strong reporting skills and experience using quality / project systems such as Visibuild, RIBCx or Aconex
  • Collaborative communicator who can work effectively with project teams, consultants and Trade Partners
