What you’ll accomplish:
· Develop and advance the MLO decarbonization project portfolio
· Participate in feasibility studies, value engineering and cost estimates in support of carbon reduction goals
· Execute multidisciplinary small-to-medium scope projects, directly supporting carbon reduction initiatives
· Create, track, and continuously improve key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the effectiveness of the MLO decarbonization program
· Coordinate the collection and reporting of MLO’s energy consumption data
· Interpret and communicate energy data to identify opportunities to improve performance
· Support energy consumption and emission data collection and reporting, as requested by internal and external stakeholders
· Support developing consistent emissions and energy reduction estimates across Orano Canada Inc
· Collaborate with other disciplines, subject matter experts, operations, and maintenance personnel to gather feedback and develop solutions to reduce MLO’s carbon footprint
What we’re seeking:
· Bachelor’s degree in Engineering. Technologists with applicable experience will be considered
· If an engineer, must be eligible for registration as a Professional Engineer or Engineer-in-Training in Saskatchewan (APEGS)
· Effective analytical, interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
· Experience with PowerBI or Microsoft Excel for Data Visualization would be considered an asset
Work Location & Schedule:
· McClean Lake mine site
· 14 days in and 14 days out rotating schedule with some flexibility to meet personnel & company needs
· Normally an 11 hour work day, although some activity outside or normal working hours may be required
