This full‑time, on‑site Swim Coach role at The Y NSW Ku-ring-gai Fitness & Aquatic Centre seeks experienced swim instructors or recreation staff to deliver YMCA NSW programs, supervise lessons and foster a safe, welcoming environment for students and families. You will plan and deliver lessons to program guidelines, monitor safety, provide clear feedback to parents, and uphold professional standards and safeguarding. The successful candidate will have aquatic or youth recreation experience and hold or be willing to obtain CPR HLTAID009, First Aid HLTAID011, an AUSTSWIM Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety licence (or equivalent), and a valid NSW WWCC. You’ll join a supportive team of Swim Instructors, Supervisors and our Swim School Coordinator who value collaboration, professionalism and living our Y values every day. Together, we maintain a safe, welcoming environment for students, families and each other.
Reporting to the Swim School Coordinator and Team Leader you will work closely with other Swim Instructors and the wider centre team to provide instruction, supervision and advice for students enrolled in YMCA NSW swimming lessons.
