Job Description

Minor Hotels is seeking a passionate and driven Talent Acquisition Advisor to join our People & Culture team based in our Brisbane CBD Support Office.

As a Talent Acquisition Advisor, you will play a key role in attracting and securing top talent across our diverse portfolio of hotels and resorts throughout Australasia. Partnering closely with hiring managers, you will manage end-to-end recruitment across a variety of roles, delivering exceptional candidate and hiring manager experiences while providing expert recruitment advice and market insights.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Provide strategic recruitment advice tailored to role and organisational needs.
  • Develop job advertisements and talent attraction strategies aligned with Minor Hotels’ brand.
  • Manage end-to-end recruitment, from shortlisting to offer negotiations, ensuring efficiency and a seamless candidate experience.
  • Advise on salary, conditions, and market trends, aligning with industry and company standards.
  • Conduct reference checks and assessments to select candidates aligned with Minor Hotels’ culture and needs.
  • Collaborate with the People and Culture team and hiring managers to refine recruitment strategies using market insights.
  • Optimise the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) for accuracy, compliance, and real-time reporting.
  • Champion diversity, inclusion, and professionalism in all recruitment activities.

Expected Hours: Full time, 38 hours per week

Salary: $80,000-85,000 (excluding super)

Qualifications

  • 2+ years in agency or internal recruitment, with a proven record of high-quality outcomes.
  • Deep expertise in recruitment practices, market trends, and strategies, adept at influencing stakeholders.
  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, building trust with stakeholders.
  • Strong organisational skills, excelling in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Proactive and adaptable, with a passion for learning and driving organisational success.
  • Independent and collaborative, embodying Minor Hotels’ Partnership-driven values.
  • Human Resources or related qualification (preferred, not essential).
