What you will be doing
- Assess hiring needs to effectively target appropriate candidate sources/populations.
- Seek passive candidates within the community.
- Creates and maintains candidate pools of qualified candidates through frequent contact and notifications of positions. Builds pipelines of qualified candidates.
- Builds applicant sources by researching & contacting community services, sourcing in the local community, schools & colleges, employment agencies, recruiters, media and internet sites.

Develops job posting, social media strategies and local community marketing.
- Attends and participates in job fairs and recruiting sessions.
- Problem solves, finds creative ways to generate new qualified applicants
- Collaborates with department managers to identify and draft detailed and accurate job descriptions and hiring criteria.
- Schedules interviews; oversees preparation of interview questions and other hiring and selection materials.
- Makes recommendations for organization attractiveness.
- Schedules orientation for new hires and ensures that offer letters, resumes, and pre-employment paperwork are completed and signed by the applicant prior to orientation.
- Collaborates with hiring departments to create diversity and inclusion plans for recruitments as well as ongoing outreach programs. Provides guidance and acts as a subject matter expert.
- Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies.

The Talent Acquistion Specailist will develop, facilitate, and implement all phases of the recruitment process. Develop and implement recruiting & staffing strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified and capable talent. Source and screen candidates to meet hiring goals of the manufacturing plant by filling open positions with talented and qualified candidates
- Minimum of an associate degree or equivalent in related business field plus three (2-4) years’ recruiting experience.
- Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative.
- Demonstrated record of meeting competitive hiring goals and expectations.
- Ability to create and implement sourcing strategies for recruitment for a variety of roles.
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to develop successful partnerships with internal and external team members.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment.
- Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn applicant-tracking software or other recruitment systems.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
