You will deliver quality primary care to a diverse student population, collaborating with GPs, Student Counselling, Health Improvement Practitioners and other student support teams. Essential: current Annual Practising Certificate from the Nursing Council of NZ, broad primary care experience, ability to triage and assess acute needs, familiarity with Primary Care Medical Records Software, and a genuine interest in youth health and working with Māori and Pasifika communities. Te Herenga Waka - Victoria University of Wellington is currently recruiting an experienced Tapuhi - Practice Nurse to join our close-knit and supportive nursing team. The role is permanent, full-time with flexibility for the right candidate. Experience in primary care and/or using Indici would be an advantage.
This is a clinical role, working with our awesome team of Nurses, GPs and Support staff to contribute to the delivery of effective quality primary care to University students in a challenging and yet very rewarding environment.
You will also work closely with Student Counselling, Nurse Practitioners, Health Improvement Practitioners, the Health Coach and other Student Support teams.
