Williams Racing is hiring a Tax Assistant to support UK and international tax from an on-site Finance team in Wantage. You’ll work with the Head of Tax and external advisors on corporate and partnership returns, manage UK VAT and cross-border sales tax, and assist with R&D and Capital Allowances claims, PSA calculations and driver withholding tax, translating technical issues into pragmatic business advice. The role prioritizes solid UK tax and VAT knowledge, growing international exposure, and clear stakeholder collaboration with a track record of accurate, timely reporting. The Tax Assistant is an individual contributor role within the Finance function, responsible for supporting the delivery of the Williams’ tax obligations across UK and international taxes. The role works closely with the Head of Tax, external advisors, and wider business stakeholders to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant tax reporting, while providing pragmatic tax advice to facilitate operational and commercial activities.
