Teaching Assistant - Master of Management

Note: This is a 12-month fixed-term role based at our Auckland campus, working weekends on part-time hours (13 hours a week - 5 hours each on Saturdays and Sundays in-class, 3 hours for coordination meetings and preparation).
About the role:
The Teaching Assistant will assist in the delivery of high-quality teaching, learning support, and student engagement for the Master of Management Programme. The Teaching Assistant will support lecturers and students to foster a positive and effective academic environment, contribute to the administrative and practical aspects of teaching, and uphold academic standards aligned with Yoobee’s values and the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
Key Responsibilities will include:
Required Skills/Experience:
Familiarity with LMS platforms (e.g., Blackboard, Moodle, Turnitin) and academic tools
Experience supporting postgraduate students or research activities is advantageous
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Patience, empathy, and the ability to engage with a diverse postgraduate cohort
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Understanding of academic integrity and research ethics
Commitment to continuous learning and academic excellence
Respectful of cultural diversity and commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi principles
