Job Overview:

As a  Team Head – Investment Advisory at Emirates NBD, your role is to holds a team of Investment Advisors from Junior to Senior grades and resumes full responsibility for the Investment Advice and related work being carried out by the team members. While liaising with key clients and the Relationship Managers directly, the position holder also assumes quality assurance tasks for his team members.

 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Provide specialist investment advice and support to Relationship Managers and advisory clients across asset classes and investment products.
  • Grow investment assets under management by identifying investment opportunities, supporting client acquisition, and driving investment-related income.
  • Manage client investment accounts by preparing CIP/IPS documents, monitoring profiles, and ensuring trades are properly executed and recorded.
  • Conduct portfolio performance reviews, analyze asset allocation and suitability, and recommend investment switches or new ideas.
  • Act as a key client contact for complex investment discussions, enhancing client engagement and satisfaction.
  • Lead and develop the Investment Advisory team by overseeing activities, driving revenue targets, maintaining quality standards, and supporting team capability development.

 

 

Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum 7 years of financial services experience, including at least 5 years in investment-related roles.
  • Preferred 3–5 years of Private Banking experience with a strong investment focus.
  • Strong knowledge of investment products, services, pricing, legal provisions, and delivery processes.
  • In-depth understanding of financial markets, equity and bond markets, unit trusts, and personal investment services.
  • Solid specialist expertise in investment theory, securities dealing, Forex trades, and treasury-related procedures.
  • Proven leadership experience, including managing large and diverse teams and developing team capabilities.
  • Proficiency in Russian language.
