BALC is seeking a Team Leader Aquatic Operations for a 10 month fixed term, responsible for daily aquatic operations, safety, water quality and service delivery, while supervising lifeguards and duty supervisors and coordinating rosters and contractor work. You’ll champion a safety culture, ensure RLSS guidelines and the Safer Public Pools Code of Practice are followed, and lead staff training in collaboration with the Aquatic Services Coordinator. This full time onsite role in Broadmeadows offers $83,714 plus super. Key qualifications include Aquatic Technical Operator’s Certificate, Pool Lifeguard Award, First Aid, WWCC, driver’s licence and a current Working with Children check. The role oversees aquatic safety, pool operations, water quality, emergency preparedness, compliance, and service delivery to ensure a safe, efficient and high-quality experience for all facility users.
The position of Team Leader Aquatic Operations is a 10-month contract role based at Broadmeadows Aquatic and Leisure Centre(BALC). It's responsible for ensuring high quality aquatic and recreation opportunities to residents and visitors in a safe, friendly, and welcoming environment through the development and promotion of excellence and professionalism in aquatic services and operations.
