Job Overview

Sets up machine tools, fabricates, assembles, maintains, and tests machinery and equipment for experimental purposes as per the established machining procedures.

Job Requirements

  • Performing the quality checks for the finished products to ensure that the specified quality standards are met, documenting the defects, and identifying the root cause in case of common occurrence.
  • Interpreting blueprints and other design documents to develop prototype models, creating toolpaths from models, and performing audits to ensure all the necessary parts are available to build, repair and test.
  • Fabricating prototype level components according to specifications to support product development from ideation to product introduction and establishing machining processes for prototype components.
  • Monitoring preventive maintenance of the machines and equipment through calibration and ensuring routine service in compliance with established guidelines.

What your background should look like

Typically requires a minimum of 5 years of related work experience. Requires completion of high school. Vocational training or an AA degree is preferred.
