Green By Nature is hiring a full-time Garden Maintenance Team Leader in Dandenong, coordinating a crew with a Tool of Trade vehicle provided, 38 hours per week, Monday to Friday, above award pay, uniform PPE, and ongoing safety training. The role focuses on leading tasks, scheduling, mentoring the team, inspecting sites, and communicating with clients to ensure maintenance standards are met. The ideal candidate will hold a Certificate III in Horticulture or Parks & Gardens, a White Card, a valid driver’s license, and a Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain). Responsibilities 

• Lead and direct a team of maintenance staff, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently.
• Follow schedules and prioritise tasks to ensure timely completion of garden maintenance activities, including planting, hedging, weeding, pruning and fertilising.
• Provide guidance, mentorship, and training to the team to enhance their horticultural skills and safety practices.
• Regularly inspect garden areas to assess their condition, identify improvements needed, and implement corrective actions.
• Interact with clients to understand their preferences, address concerns, and provide updates on maintenance activities.

About You 

• Certificate III in Horticulture or Parks & Gardens
• Working with Children Check, or willingness to obtain
• White Card
• Valid Drivers' license
• Team player with excellent communication skills
