JOB PURPOSE
This role will be responsible for the management, business analysis, and oversight of the service transformation portfolio, covering initiatives across the Retail and Business Banking Group (RBG), Wholesale Banking Group (WBG), and the contact centre, as well as oversight of initiatives focused on embedding a service transformation mindset.
JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Analyse business requirements, liaise with project team and produce functional specification document for addressing the requirements.
- Integrate and deploy new systems and products to ensure business sustainability and profitability.
- Responsible for delivery and implementation of new initiatives / changes in Microsoft Applications, Agentic AI, EDMS and Kofax
- Evaluate the business requirements and identify any gaps together with high-level proposals for their resolution, workarounds, or changes in processes.
- Ensure any solutions proposed are realistic and within the agreed scope of the project.
- Participate in solution design with development to ensure the requirements are addressed. Ensure requirement traceability to facilitate tracking of requirements coverage.
- Should have strong knowledge and hands on expertise in Microsoft Platform domain and extensive knowledge of working in major projects.
- Demonstrate knowledge on operational experience in Banking processes and functional flow, with an in-depth of the Business/Operational/Contact Centre process and guidelines.
- Strong operations/branch business orientation and domain expertise to comprehend user requirements.
- Improve and simplify the business process and flows using existing capabilities.
- Ability to prepare accurate and detailed requirement specifications documents, user interface guides, and functional specification documents as well as getting the sign-off from the appropriate client.
- Analyse the business requirements and translate it to technical and functional specification.
- Lead on requirement gathering workshops with different stakeholders.
- Ensure the business/operational objectives of the new business requirements are well defined via perform methodical business analysis.
- Follow the software development lifecycle from inception throughout design, engineering, testing and deployment. Serving as a liaison between various cross-functional teams that influence Microsoft applications projects.
- Work with internal and vendor team to define accurate requirement and solutions.
- Review business requirement document, workflows and functional specifications.
- Validate business requirements to align with business/operations needs as well as IT architecture and security standards.
- Facilitate non-functional and Integration requirements discussions and requirement definitions.
- Perform data migration / data setup requirement gathering and validations.
- Manage requirement traceability matrix to ensure the delivery coverage and quality.
- Align with testing squad for testing activities, test plan, scope and approach and review of test scenarios, test cases, test data, triage and manage defect, validate test result.
- Assist users in planning/executing UAT, analysing defects, and defining defects priority for fix delivery by development team.
- Prepare and review application training materials, conduct training sessions to bank users.
- Support production cutover and post-live support activities.
- Track and report progress and issues to project manager, identify potential risks.
- Proactively communicate and collaborate between entities (i.e. internal users, technology team and application vendors) to analyse information needs and functional requirements and deliver the following as needed: Functional requirements, Business Requirements Document, Use Cases, GUI, Screen and Interface designs.
- Ensure vendor clarity on the points raised during the design, implementation and UAT.
- Perform as the liaison between the technology units, technology teams, support teams and/or application vendors.
- Maintain an overview of the infrastructure and users to constantly reassess the environment and rationalize them.
- Maintain relationships with application vendors for Microsoft Applications related delivery.
- Ensure uniform and cohesive monitoring applied across the relevant infrastructures.
- Assist the Group Lead, project manager and PMO in implementation, progress updates, plan reviews, scoping, and vendor discussions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers, and subject matter experts.
- Detail oriented and ability to multi-task under tight timelines
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS
- Graduate in Computer Science or Similar Discipline
- Wide understanding in Microsoft Applications Domain
- Strong and proven knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform suite, such as PowerApps, Power Automate, Power BI etc. Microsoft Certifications required.
- Strong knowledge and hands‑on experience in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Agentic AI, including the design, deployment, and optimization of autonomous, reasoning-based systems that drive workflow automation, enhance decision-making, and enable end‑to‑end process orchestration in enterprise environments.
- Strong understanding of Artificial intelligence, Machine learning, Natural language processing, and techniques for data-driven personalization
- Strong knowledge on Robotic process automation – RPA.
- Strong knowledge on Databases including SQL, SharePoint as DB and Dataverse.
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Microsoft SharePoint portals and EDMS, including design, configuration, governance, and support of document-centric collaboration platforms.
- Strong knowledge of Business Digitization, preferably Kofax
- Strong experience in designing, developing, and maintaining Internet and Intranet websites, with a preference for Sitefinity.
- Proven knowledge on Azure Services (DevOps, Functions, Databases and Analytics) – MS Certification is a plus.
- Good knowledge on Business/Operations process is desirable.
- Strong understanding of Secure Coding Standards
- 7+ years in experience in similar job
- Business oriented person with a deep technical background and strong understanding of the Microsoft Applications domain
- Good experience in hosting application and services as Hybrid solutions on premise/cloud
