Liebherr Middle East FZE seeks a Technical Advisor Maritime Cranes for a Dubai role. You will be the technical contact for sales and partners, coordinate local technicians, contribute to technical proposals, and create service information to keep partners informed, with occasional travel. The ideal candidate has a technical education in mechatronics or a mix of electrical, electronic, mechanical and hydraulic trades, at least six years as a Service Engineer, and solid knowledge of hydraulics, electrics and mechanics; experience in technical support or customer care is a plus, English fluency is essential and German is advantageous. Liebherr Middle East FZE is responsible for sales and service of construction machinery and maritime cranes of the Liebherr Group in the Gulf region. This includes specifically mobile and crawler cranes, the complete range of earthmoving equipment, tower cranes and concrete equipment, duty cycle crawler cranes as well as material handling equipment in the maritime field
Responsibilities
- First point of contact for technical inquiries from our global sales and service partners
- Scheduling and supporting local technicians and service staff in their daily work
- Participate in technical proposals and implementations to develop customised solutions
- Project participation and collaboration with e.g. development engineers, product management and other departments
- Creating and planning service information to keep our service partners and customers well informed
- Occasional travel to support our international sales and service partners
Competencies
- Completed technical education (mechatronic or a combination of electric, electronic, mechanic and hydraulic technologies)
- At least 6 years experience as a Service Engineer
- Knowledge of hydraulics, electrics, mechanics or engines an advantage
- Ideally some experience in technical support, service or customer care
- Enjoy solving technical challenges and working in a team environment
- Independent, reliable and solution-oriented thinking
- English fluent in both spoken and written, German language skills would be a great advantage
- Open, honest and friendly manner
