Synechron Sydney is seeking a Technical Architect who can act as a trusted advisor to clients, guiding them through complex technology decisions, solution design, and digital transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate will combine deep technical expertise with strong consulting skills, enabling them to bridge the gap between business needs and technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Advisory
    • Engage with clients to understand business challenges and translate them into technical solutions.
    • Provide strategic guidance on architecture, modernization, and cloud adoption.
    • Act as a thought leader, advising on emerging technologies and industry best practices.
  • Solution Architecture
    • Design scalable, secure, and resilient enterprise architectures across applications, data, and cloud.
    • Define integration strategies for APIs, microservices, and legacy modernization.
    • Ensure alignment of solutions with client’s enterprise standards and compliance requirements.
  • Technical Leadership
    • Lead architecture discussions, workshops, and proof-of-concepts with client stakeholders.
    • Mentor engineering teams and enforce architectural best practices.
    • Collaborate with delivery teams to ensure successful implementation of solutions.
  • Innovation & Strategy
  • Evaluate new technologies and frameworks for potential adoption.
  • Contribute to Synechron’s innovation initiatives and accelerators.
  • Provide input into long-term technology roadmaps for clients.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 10+ years of experience in software engineering and architecture roles.
  • Strong expertise in cloud platforms (AWS) and enterprise architecture frameworks.
  • Hands-on knowledge of APIs, microservices, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience with backend technologies (Node.js) and frontend frameworks (React, Next.js)
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and consulting skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Cloud certifications (AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Architect).
  • Experience in BFSI or large-scale enterprise transformation projects.
  • Exposure to data governance, compliance, and security frameworks.
  • Prior consulting or client-facing architecture experience.
