We are seeking a Technical Business Analyst (AWS) to bridge the gap between business requirements and cloud technology solutions. The successful candidate will work closely with stakeholders, solution architects, and engineering teams to design, document, and deliver scalable AWS-based solutions that align with business objectives. This role requires strong analytical skills, technical knowledge of AWS services, and the ability to translate complex requirements into actionable deliverables.
Requirements Gathering & Analysis
Engage with business stakeholders to elicit, document, and validate requirements.
Translate business needs into technical specifications for AWS solutions.
Solution Design Support
Collaborate with architects and developers to design secure, scalable AWS architectures.
Document workflows, data models, and integration points.
Cloud Transformation Projects
Support migration, modernization, and optimization initiatives on AWS.
Assist in defining roadmaps for cloud adoption and digital transformation.
Stakeholder Management
Act as a liaison between business units, technical teams, and external vendors.
Present findings, recommendations, and solution options to senior stakeholders.
Governance & Compliance
Ensure solutions adhere to AWS best practices, Well-Architected Framework, and security standards.
Support risk assessments, compliance checks, and operational excellence initiatives.
Documentation & Reporting
Produce clear business requirement documents (BRDs), functional specifications, and user stories.
Maintain project documentation, RAID logs, and reporting dashboards.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
5–7 years’ experience as a Business Analyst in IT or cloud environments.
Strong knowledge of AWS core services (EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, RDS, Lambda, CloudFormation).
Experience with cloud migration strategies (rehost, replatform, refactor).
Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and tools (JIRA, Confluence).
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Experience working in regulated industries (banking, insurance, healthcare) is highly desirable.
AWS certifications (Cloud Practitioner, Solutions Architect Associate/Professional).
Exposure to DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
Knowledge of FinOps and cloud cost optimization.
Experience in multi-cloud environments (Azure, GCP) is a plus.
