Bombardier seeks a Technical Expert, Engineering for Aircraft System Development and Process Assurance in Québec, onsite. What are your contributions to the team?
- Develop and maintain generic companywide processes and procedures for Aircraft System Development Assurance for sustaining and new product development programs, according to guidance from ARP4754-B.
- Support the Head of Aircraft Design team in preparing the program specific Development Assurance Plans meeting the objectives of APR4754-B.
- Lead Process Assurance audits and oversight at the Aircraft and System Levels, including internal and supplier audits for compliance against Development Assurance Plans and support the finding of compliance to 525.1309.
- Prepare process oversight and audit reports, providing adherence status to Development Assurance Plans and identifying deviations and findings. Track resolution of findings with BA integration teams and suppliers.
- Provide support, coaching, mentoring and training to the Bombardier integration teams for Requirements Management, Validation, Verification and Configuration Management activities at the Aircraft and System Levels.
- Participate in System Design Reviews and Requirements Change Review Boards.
- Provide guidance and support to the PLM team developing tools for the Development Assurance processes.

How to thrive in this role?
- · You have a Bachelor or Master University Degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical, Software Engineering or equivalent.
- You have a minimum of 15 years’ working experience in System Development specific to the Aerospace Industry.
- You have experience working with Requirements Management Tools (i.e. Team Center, Doors or equivalent).
- You are knowledgeable and have practical experience with SAE ARP4754 Standards.
- You must be cognizant of the relevant Airworthiness Regulations, ARP 4754, ARP 4761, and certification process.
- You have demonstrated the ability to work in cross-functional environments.
- You have demonstrated the ability to be resourceful and lead projects.
- You have strong communication skills (both written and spoken) and can communicate sound technical proposals and work status to management.
- You are fluent in English.
- You have proven teamwork and organizational skills.
- You are able to travel for busines
