Bombardier is seeking a Technical Expert, Engineering for Stability & Control to join the Québec based team onsite full time. You will design and test Fly-by-Wire flight control laws, assess stability and handling, plan wind tunnel and flight tests, analyze simulation and test data, and support aerodynamics and airworthiness activities with regulators. The role requires a bachelor’s, master's, or PhD in Aerospace Engineering and about 12 years in stability and control, plus knowledge of flight dynamics, aeroelasticity, and related systems, and programming skills with Matlab/Simulink, Windows or UNIX, and MS Office. The Control Laws/Stability and Control (Claws/S&C) team is responsible for ensuring appropriate aircraft flight characteristics. Key activities include designing/developing and testing Fly-by-Wire (FBW) flight control laws for the next generation Bombardier Aircrafts. Moreover, the team contributes to the development of new or derivative aircraft (including missionized aircraft) and supports continued airworthiness of in-service aircraft. The team also actively participates in flight testing activities and closely interacts with regulatory authorities to ensure safety and compliance to airworthiness requirements.
