As a Technical Program Manager for Privacy and Trust Incident Response, you will be a trust anchor for our customers. You will be part of a team of professionals including Engineering, Communications, Legal and other key partners in Alphabet, focused on the investigation and resolution of reported incidents to a swift and solid closure. You will shape the processes and tools for Alphabet-wide privacy incident management while maintaining a super-strong culture of trust, respect, and collaboration. You will be central to ensuring that Alphabet's products remain the most innovative, useful, and trusted guardians of user data in the world.

Responsibilities

  • Organize and lead response teams for privacy or user trust incidents always with the utmost respect for our users’ data.
  • Lead the full lifecycle of complex incident communications, from drafting communications strategies to delivering communications.
  • Collaborate actively with engineering towards improved product processes and related policy decisions to prevent incidents and on education initiatives to improve incident response readiness. Support automation, analysis and tool improvement initiatives in support of reduced time to resolution for all incident types.
  • Lead initiatives to improve our incident management or compliance processes, lead prevention initiatives to mitigate any risks related to privacy, security and user trust.
  • Be available for oncall to support our global team operations.
