As a Technical Services Engineer, you will provide technical engineering support and advice to the National Jet Systems CAMO function. You’ll play a key role in enhancing the technical condition of our Airbus A220 aircraft and components, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements while driving reliability and cost-effective outcomes across the fleet. 

You’ll have: 

  • 5+ years’ experience in a technical aviation or engineering environment 
  • Qualifications in aircraft engineering or a related discipline (AME, LAME, engineering degree or equivalent) 
  • Experience within a commercial aircraft environment (Airbus commercial aircraft exposure highly advantageous) 
  • Strong working knowledge of CASR Part 42, 21J and 21M regulations 
  • Proven ability to investigate defects, analyse trends and improve reliability outcomes 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret Instructions for Continuing Airworthiness 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence internal and external stakeholders 
  • Demonstrated organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines 

Key responsibilities include: 

  • Liaising with OEMs to support effective modification and repair outcomes 
  • Conducting engineering assessments and translating ICAs into actionable maintenance solutions 
  • Investigating repetitive defects and reliability trends, providing recommendations for improvement 
  • Supporting maintenance operations with technical troubleshooting and defect resolution 
  • Participating in reliability programs and driving continuous improvement initiatives 
  • Ensuring compliance with CASA regulations and internal safety and quality standards 
  • Preparing and maintaining accurate technical records and reports
