Description

As a Technical Trainee you will shadow and support the Design Manager, you will, with support from the architectural and engineering teams. 

You will learn design & detailing, document coordination, project coordination, site support, planning application procedure and develop professional skills including communication, discipline and management. 
 
If you do not already hold a relevant qualification you may also work towards a nationally recognised Apprenticeship. 

Key Responsibilities


  • Provide appropriate drawings and details with support from the design team for use by the sales team for brochure production and on site usage.  
  • To assist site managers by addressing and where appropriate, answering development queries (or by seeking support from the design team).
  • Providing appropriate drawings and details to the commercial team to assist the procurement process. 
  • Provide supporting information to secure the discharge of planning conditions and track progress of applications in support of the architectural team.
  • Monitor and routinely update the wider team in terms of National House Building Council (NHBC) condition status in relation to CMLs.
  • Assist in the production of documentation to comply with the requirements of the Construction Design Management Regulations.
