We are looking for a talented Electrical Technician to join our manufacturing team in Scoresby, VIC. This role will have a focus on manufacturing and assembly work of generator sets in our Scoresby manufacturing facility.   

 

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways: 

 

  • Operates manual and automated equipment to manufacture and assemble products to meet customer specifications, quality standards and production requirements

  • Performs quality inspections, identifies non-conforming materials and follows processes to ensure product quality

  • Works to defined production targets, cycle times and engineering standards to achieve operational goals

  • Completes routine housekeeping, machine cleaning and planned operator care activities to maintain a safe and efficient work area

  • Uses hand tools and performs mechanical or electrical assembly tasks as required

  • Collaborates with peers, skilled trades and support teams to identify equipment issues and support timely repairs

To be successful in this role you will need the following: 

  • Current Electrical License valid in Victoria

  • Manufacturing experience or intermediate level knowledge obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience required   

  • Forklift license LF

  • High attention to detail 

  • Ability to work within a repetitive process environment

Requires performing mechanical assembly work in Upfit area as well
