Orica is seeking a Field Support Technician in Townsville to maintain and support mobile and fixed plant equipment across North Queensland, reporting to the Asset Supervisor. The role is 5 days on, 2 days off with a supplied vehicle and tools. Duties include routine servicing, preventive maintenance, and breakdown support, site rotations, and advising site teams while using asset management systems such as 4S-SWM EPDM IBM Lotus Notes and Outlook. Essential: electrical or mechanical trade qualification; desirable: auto electrical, hydraulic, PLC/Can bus, Explosive Mobile Manufacturing Systems, mining experience.
