As part of the Long-Standing Customer Apps & Test Team, you’ll play a key role in shaping how we deliver safe, reliable, and high-quality technology change. 

 

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Test Manager to lead testing across complex change programmes and help drive forward our testing capability. 

 

 

About the role 

 

  • Defining and owning the test strategy across programmes and projects within your value stream 

  • Leading and coordinating testing across complex deliveries involving multiple teams and applications   

  • Managing internal and third-party test teams, ensuring alignment to delivery timelines   

  • Providing clear, timely reporting on testing progress, risks, and issues to senior stakeholders   

  • Collaborating with Technical Leads, Engineers, Programme Managers and senior stakeholders across the business 

  • Driving improvements in testing practices, tooling and automation, using data and metrics to inform change   

  • Building and enhancing testing capability across the value stream, including recruitment and development of talent. 

 

 

About you 

 

  • Proven experience managing testing across large-scale programmes, including system migrations or major upgrades  

  • Strong knowledge of testing methodologies and best practices   

  • Experience with test automation tools and frameworks   

  • A track record of improving testing capability and driving strategic change   

  • Experience leading teams across both permanent and third-party resources (onshore/offshore)  

  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels   

  • The ability to manage multiple priorities and thrive in a changing environment.
